Our Story

From birth, as a family, we have experienced the trials and tribulations associated with having a child grow up and deal with spina bifida and hydrocephalus daily.

This is a lifetime condition that unfortunately can lead to other complications. It, like any other disability, can have a massive impact on the individual and their family so we have been inspired by Avah‘s strength and determination to set up LoveHope&Faith.

Future Projects

Our long-term goal is to raise enough funds to set up a retreat for families in Northern Ireland.

The project will have hydrotherapy and sensory elements within the facility. Our aim is to provide a home from home setting, so that families can enjoy quality time together.

LoveHope&Faith would be the first charity in the country to supply such a project to kids and families that have Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus within the family circle.

UPDATE ON LH&F RETREAT

As of today, 24th of July 2025

Full planning permission has been granted for the LH&F retreat for the site in the Ecos Ballymena.

As a collective we would like to sincerely thank MEA Council and the planning department for granting the planning.

The retreat will include a hydrotherapy pool, kitchen facilities, bedrooms each featuring an attached wetroom and a custom designed cinema.

The next step in the process is to secure 500k of capital funding, we will task S3 Solutions to support the funding for this.
